Summer is normally the time when we have most energy. The longer days and nights mean we get out and do more, connect with other people more and feel a more obvious joy about life. This has made the lockdown even harder for us as we have been forced into an early hibernation. As we begin to take some tentative steps back towards a more "normal" life we can begin to embrace this energy again.
Yoga practice should be stronger and more aerobic. I am more likely to challenge myself with poses I find tricky, longer sessions and combined yoga/running sessions. I also want to move in between times, walking as much as I can, gardening, tending my allotment. Now is a good time to challenge yourself to something new. What about 3 sun salutations every morning for a week? Do them in your garden or the local park to give you an opportunity to connect with nature.
