I completed my seasonal Yoga training over the course of 1 year. This was an incredible journey. Although I had participated in yoga classes for years this was totally different experience. To delve into the whole philosophy and lifestyle that is Yoga challenged me in new ways. I learned a lot about bodies, breath, life, but most of all I learned about myself.
My physical practise improved as I tried to make sure I had a daily practice for the year. I also started to include pranayama and meditation in my daily routine. The benefits from this alone are huge!
I read a lot of interested books and have a long list of others I would like to get through.
I completed my training while working as a maths teacher at a secondary school. I am still a maths teacher, thats just not all I am. I love teaching both maths and yoga and feel incredibly blessed to be in a position where I am able to do both.
